July 24-28th Steel River trip

Paddle through pristine Canadian wilderness with an experienced guide

The Steel River is a remote and beautiful waterway flowing into Lake Superior.  With fantastic scenery, easy whitewater, good camping and abundant wildlife and fish, it is a perfect introduction wilderness river tripping.  Our experienced guides live in the area and have groups on the Steel and many other wilderness routes.

Trip Itinerary

July 24th

Meet near Geraldton, Ontario to pack personal gear and go over your route.  Lodging will be provided the night of the 24th.

July 25th-28th

On the Water.  You'll be enjoying the sights and sounds of true wilderness on the Steel.  Rapids, waterfalls, otters, bears, moose, and tasty walleye will fill your days.  Filling meals and campfire comradery will occupy your evenings.  

July 28th

Take out at one of two pre-determined egress points.

Rates

4 day Guided Trip

$800 per person, min of 2 people.

Price includes equipment, food, guide, first night lodging, and shuttle services.  It does not include fishing equipment and licenses.
